A Bit About Us

Tackling education disparity through one-on-one tutoring and mentorship.

Bruin Partners is committed to closing the education gap for students in underserved communities in the Los Angeles area through academic tutoring and personal mentorship.

Since 1990, our mission has been to form a positive and trusting relationship between our UCLA mentors and student mentees. We hope to motivate them to achieve their academic and personal goals, and ultimately become active and educated participants in their communities.

About: Who We Are

Site Dates & Times

Middle School Component High School Component

**Unfortunately, we will not be tutoring at any **High school site times are still tentative and subject to middle schools this quarter** change**

Tuesday: 11:45am-2:45pm (Whitman Continuation School)

Wednesday: 2:45pm-6:15pm (John F. Kennedy High School)

Thursday: 11:45am-3:00pm (Phoenix High School)

Transportation to and from site is provided!

Mentors commit to one site day per week and are expected to attend site consistently during weeks 3 - 9 of the quarter.

Typically, mentors are paired up with one student and will work with him or her throughout the quarter, or across multiple quarters if possible. Consistency is important in order to build a helpful and healthy mentor-mentee relationship.
